Local gastronomy

The restaurant Oddih is maintaining the tradition of excellent local cuisine. Different choices of good and selected food creates a feeling like being at home. You can try meat or even fish dishes and a variety of side dishes and delicious desserts.

We have a bufet and summer outdoor garden and three rooms that can arrange for various occasions.

We are located in a pleasant atmosphere in the nature with a large parking, just a few minutes from the tourist centre of Nova Gorica, in Solkan along the road that leads via Lokve or Sveta Gora.

Our menu

Try the excellent steak tartare, different soups, pasta with various sauces, fried chicken, Ljubljana steak, pork and veal shanks or pork roast, greilled food, steaks in various sauces, venison dishes. You should try our desserts and here all known pancake Oddih!

Every season is special
In autumn – winter we also had cod with polenta, sausages with cabbage, dishes with mushrooms, pumpkin specialties. In spring, you can try different vegetable soups, omelettes with fresh herbs and some other specialties with fresh vegetables. In the summertime, even salads and fresh vegetables from the grill.

On request, we also prepare special menus, suitable for different celebrations (birthdays, banquets, weddings, funeral banquets, business meetings…). Upon request and agreement, it is also possible to book a live music. We are always considering all your desires!

The perfect location for sightseeing and active holidays.
We also offer rooms at economic price. We have double and triple rooms, which are prepared every day of the week. Rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Guests can use the wireless internet.

Flying area Lijak

Lijak is one of the most popular paragliding take-offs in Slovenia. The Vipavska valley’s climate allows the most favourable flying conditions over the year.

Brda is original, rich, colourful and lively, and full of life during every season. Beside the fruit, Brda is also recognized for its top quality wine. There are also walking trails and you can cycling too and visit a lot of events and festivals during all the year.
